It’s highly safe as it’s handled by experienced doctors. Before the procedure, numbing cream is applied to fully prepare the skin. During treatment you may feel some tightness or slight pain in areas with dense fibrous tissue, but you’ll feel relaxed throughout the process.
The fibrous-tissue release mechanism helps the skin relax partially right away. However, the main results become gradually clearer over 2–4 weeks, as the body undergoes wound repair and produces new collagen to fill the acne pits, making them look naturally shallower.
You can notice smoother skin from the very first session. However, for complete tissue restoration, we recommend around 3–5 consecutive sessions (spaced 4–6 weeks apart), depending on the depth and age of the acne scars, which the doctor will assess individually.
Afterward there may be natural redness, bruising, or small scabs. We recommend avoiding washing your face in the first 24 hours, not picking at the scabs, avoiding strong sunlight for 1–2 weeks, and focusing on applying sunscreen together with moisturizer to help the skin heal as well as possible.
